Orofacial pain is commonplace among people who have their wisdom teeth and it can greatly impact people’s quality of life. As these teeth emerge, they cause crowding. Patients with wisdom teeth may experience frequent headaches and pain along the jaw. They may also struggle with discomfort when speaking, eating, yawning, and laughing.
Unwanted Tooth Movement
Crowding associated with the emergence of wisdom teeth can lead to teeth migrating out of place. This is especially concerning for patients who have previously received orthodontic treatment.
